thanks for your answer, i have been doing that most of the afternoon.
I get a box asking for a key, and that I have on the back of my Sky wireless box. If I type that in the box stays open with status as Pending.... and nothing else happens. The icon on the taskbar with the wirless sign has a screwdriver over it - assuming it needs fixing. If you have any suggestions i will really appreciate it. thanks.

Did you ever get the above resolved? I have purchased an ASUS EEE today and I am having the same pending problem - it will not connect to the internet. Any solutions?
