hp printer problem

my hp printer has suddenly started to print b/w prints in with a light blue tinge every thing is set correct new cartridges (hoping new ones would correct it) no mater what prog i use to print it with and set in grey scale it still prints all b/w in light blue any word docs print b/w properly no prob there. i reinstalled the printer again but to no avail the problem started overnight everything was ok before
btw no matter what paper i use its the same
