If you don`t get rid of it it will start damaging your computer, but I`ve googled it and it`s too techie for me.
I`ve had similar problems myself, so what I usually do is delete the drive and reinstall windows. This is very easy if you have your windows disc and serial number.
Some might think this is too drastic, but it does solve a lot of problems.
If you do decide to do this, back up any documents you really need, music photos etc. onto discs.
Make sure you back up your drivers, if you haven`t already got them on disc.
You might be able to get rid of it from advice on here so just think about reinstalling windows as a last resort.
Okay, there's an easy (not always successful) way, and a complicated way. This is the easy one, if it works.

Run this one, and then click on scan and fix all problems, when you have done that reboot.

Once that has been done download "ccleaner" and run that to remove all traces (you'll need to run each section a few times until all traces are gone)

Better than having to do a format reinstal :-)
I agree with you TheDr-UK, that`s why I said use as a last resort.
I`ve had problems in the past that couldn`t be resolved by ccleaner etc. I don`t find reinstalling to be too drastic.
Sometimes it`s lovely to have your computer running like new again, and like I said it`s not as hard as some people make out. I`m quite new to computers (18 mths) and i find reinstalling very easy, not that I`ve had to do it much for myself , but my grandchildren are experts at downloading viruses spyware etc.

Im not really an I.T perosn so these cleaning programs frightern me alittle, I dont always know weather or not I should let them fix or distroy what it has found. The CCleaner is one of these I dont want to use because of what it cleans eg Registrey.

Is it still there then?
