about desktop

rojash ,,,,thanks for responding to my question about losing desktop background ,, but I cant get to the file manager..after holding down alt/ control and hitting delete box says ---task manager is disabled by administrator---,, guess you can tell I am not an expert on computers.. ,, if you have the patience would like your input.. thanks again shellman38

This may be bad news, as sometimes this option can be turned off by a virus.

I found this suggestion on another web site:

Right click the desktop
->properties
->desktop tab
->customize desktop button
->web tab
->highlight the entry and click delete
->click OK
->back to desktop tab
->choose your background.
