G-mail

Just signed up for g mail - does anybody know how to get a desktop/quick launch shortcut for this ? Think I'm being stupid, but my brain isn't in gear today !!

on a blank area of desktop right click | new | shortcut

in the "location of the item" field enter the URL of the page you want

Hi 'fbg40' ....the best thing is to download 'Gmail notifier' ...
(google will find it) ..not only will it give you an icon in the system tray to go directly to gmail ...it will also alert you when you receive mail.

Troll - that's a cool idea. It will come in handy for other things too.

I use the gmail notifier too - one click opens gmail from the system tray by the clock, and lets me know when I have new mail.
