apple updates

itunes and uick time seem to come upwith large(70Mb or so) updates fairly frequently.Are they worthwhile/significant to download ?

Depends what you want to do.

Updates are released for many reasons.

1) Security updates. If any bug is found that could compromise your computer, you'll be best to update.

2) Adding new features for iTunes, or support for new iPods. These are only needed if you want the new features or have a new iPod. But if you don't, then really you don't need it.

But since both types are bundled together, you're best just updating anyway.
