flash player download troubles

im having trouble downloading flash player. I havnt been able to use any flash bases programs or sites for about 4 months now but have just lived with it. I cant scroll down on this site either! anyone hav any ideas of what could be wrong with my computer or maybe security settings? i am no computer whizz but something i read said it may be to do with enabling "private headers" on adobe.com....any advice would be much appreciated thanks
