graphics card

Hi, i need a new graphics card for my computer but im not sure whats compatible or not and the best one to get etc. i have a compaq presario SR1719UK and its got an ATI graphics card at the moment and i do a lot of gaming on the pc. if anyone could reccomend a good graphics card for gaming or give me some adive that would be great.

Well, you have a 16x PCIe slot, so there's a lot to choose from - some of which would cost more than the current value of your machine!
