No mouse

Well, the puppy ate the flex so at the moment I am mouseless (have ad to borrow one).
How do I use the keyboard instead. Is it Alt+F (or whatever) or Ctrl+F? I can turn the pc off by using the window thing on the keyboard, but am stuck for most everything else.
