how do you delete the files in the search box

If you are talking about your History in google or other search boxes you need to clear your history, you can do this through internet options or by following the instructions for your particular tool bar, I use google and there is view history on the drop down menu next to the G and clear history when you click on the drop down menu button on the right hand side of the search box. hope this helps
