Fake??

Typo I assume :) meant to be take I guess :)

Yes and no.

a USB keyboard and mouse from a normal PC will work on a MAC but some of the key labels won't match what they actually do.

Thanks...

I did type "take"
LOL, dirty mark on my screen that made it look like an F :)

answer still stands, it will work, but obviously a PC keyboard hasn't got things like the Apple key logo or a cmd key but the windows and ctrl (I think) become these keys

ACtheTROLL,

I don't understand what you are trying to say.

You seem to be saying that because I didn't know whether a PC keyboard would work with an Apple Mac, I must be clueless with regards to IT.

In actual fact I regularly answer other people's questions in this category, but I am a complete beginner with Apple Macs.
hey hey .... easy there tiger
I'm not saying anything ... but over the last couple of days you have posted quite a few questions ... no mention of them relating to MAC - I just assumed they were PC problems

2 monitors, sky/tv aerial, wireless connection, java, the google toolbar and the fact that you are unsure why IE8 isn't fully functional....

for some reason I got the idea that you were starting out -
(and there is nothing wrong with that - we all bin there)
rather than being confident in this area ....
if I'm wrong I apologise ... for the future I'll look forward to reading your answers as much as your questions

Erm, if my recent java question is so "easy", why has no one answered it?

I am also fully aware that Internet Explorer 8 is Beta, I never said otherwise. That was your assumption.

Anyway, apology accepted.
