just wondering if anyone can throw any light on this please?
whenever i try to make a cd up of tunes on my computer using 'My CD Writer' - 'Record Now' i get through a good dozen or more discs each time as an error keeps occuring and rejects it telling me to insert another and to try again.
it doesnt stop and reject at the same place, it differs each time.
ive noticed the burning(?) speed varies alot throughout.
its a real pain wasting soo many discs just to get a successful one!
help!
thanks
:o)

have you tried a different brand of disk?

yeah i have chuck, still the same problem!
It could be that your dvd/cd writer is worn out, you can get a new one off ebay for 15, i have had to change mine a few times for the same reasons that you are experiencing.
as above says could be your writer, though the prices they mention are for a desktop drive, if you have a laptop then the drives are quite a lot more.

have you tried different software?
Question Author
ive not really used the cd writer that often to be honest, not counting all the duff attempts mind lol.
ive a laptop and no i havent used any other software as i wouldnt know what else to use...

thanks so far for all your helps :o)
