my nx 6325 laptop spears problems

my laptop is really annoying me at the moment cause the the speakers wont work no matter what i try. ive adjusted everyhthing in the control panel and restored defaults everwhere! but still nothing works! headphones dont even work!!

any help appreciated :)

Have you ensured that the volume is not muted via the k,eyboard, and also that the volume is turned up via the buttons at the rear of the keyboard?

Also try deleting the sound card from Device Manager and rebooting. The drivers should be re-installed. (Might also need new drivers, downloaded from the HP site).
