I was dusting over the keys yesterday and the computer must have been i must have done something to the computer. Now, when I switch it on, the power symbol turns on (blue) but nothing happens, the screen doesn't come on and there aren't any noises indicating the computer is doing anything (i.e. no start-up sound). It will no longer go into a 'standby' mode where the power button turns orange and the 'satellite' symbol at the front of the laptop (which always turned blue when on and working) no longer comes on. All I have is the blue power light indicating the computer is on, but a blank screen and no action.

I am in desparate need for this computer outside work and it has treasured family photos on it. I hope this is a simple problem to fix and would really appreciate tips to get it running normally!

THANK YOU!

(by the way, I have leared my lesson of how silly it is to dust the keys whilst the pc is on!)
