If you want it, you'll either have to borrow a disc from someone or by it.

I agree, what do you want to do....

If just a basic letter then you have wordpad installed on your computer, that will do the job.

if a bit more advanced is needed then openoffice

Have to agree that most "home" users dont need to power of Word.

Wordpad (free with Windows) is a fairly good but basic word processor.

OpenOffice is a full Office (including word processor) suite that is free.
