selling old laptops

Hi.
I'm selling my old laptop which one day decided not to work anymore. i was just wondering if i would get more money selling the whole laptop on ebay as "repair or spares" or if its best to dismantle the monitor from the the keyboard and sell the two parts seperatly.

any advice please?
