What's what you should do with Vista. Just report back the ipconfig /all stuff (ignore everything else).

So you're using wifi, your router seems to be communicating with your laptop, which is good.
Try this link:
http://74.125.67.100/
Does that work (and show Google)?

Try this:
Control Panel
Network and Sharing Centre
Manage Network Connections
Double-click on the connection you want to use
Click Properties
Double Click on TCP/IP V4
In the preferred DNS Server section
If it's not greyed out, select Obtain Automatically
If that option is greyed, type in 192.168.1.1 for the preferred server
Click OK to everything
Restart the machine

Try Rojash's suggest first.
Then, do you have other machines? Try those, and see if they still work through the router (to see if it's the router at fault or your laptop).
One other thing to try it to switch everything off for 5 minutes, then switch on the router first, wait for a few minutes, then your laptop, and see if that sorts the issue (sometimes race conditions can be a factor).
