My son-in-law has sent me some video clips of the grandchildren but I am having no success at viewing them. He has used BT Digital Vault. They are AVI video files and I was hoping to watch them on iether RealPlayer or Windows Media Player but I get the same problem with both. I am on Vista and use both Firefox and Opera (I have tried to download on both) The problem seems to be that a plug-in cannot be found, which apparently is needed, but I am unable to download a plug-in so the videos will not play. I thought it might be easier if I downloaded BT Digital Vault myself as it says you do not need to be a BT customer to do so, but when I tried it said I needed BT Broadband, so I am back to square one. Any ideas please?
