Copy from music cd

I am having trouble putting music onto a blank cd, I am using windows media player I can copy it onto a disc no problem  but when I then play the copied disc it plays for a while then sort of loses it and starts to crackel ect and lose the music?.

Any ideas why this is happening as I have not losed several CD trying this.

It's probable that the music disc is protected. This sort of thing happens, i.e. it doesn't play properly once recorded. It may play in a PC but not a hi-fi, or car CD player or vice versa. It is to protect the rights of the manufacturer.

Ensure you CD recorder is clean and discs are clean too.

I have heard this but when my bro-in law copies the same disc and then copies it there is no problem with the disc he`s copied?.
Same as me. I have copied some songs onto different disks, one song may play good on one CD but crackles on another. So whats the problem? Please help....
