Please can someone tell me where is the cheapest place on the net to buy ink cartridges for a LEXMARK X3480 INKJET PRINTER.

Have you tried your local Cartridge world? Their always cheap.

When I ran a small business, I used to buy from systeminsight.co.uk. They were the cheapest then, delivered next day and did compatibles as good as the manufacturer's at third of the price, also properly matched refill inks.
(I have no connection with the firm.)
