I bought my grand-daughter a netbook two months ago.
The orange battery light stays orange (sometime flashing) and when the A/C power lead is pulled out the netbook does not work.
Is this a replacement battery problem or is there a fix available.

I'd also insist on a replacement battery at that age!

They will often try to run some "reconditioning" software on the battery, which fair enough, after a year or so a battery might need, but if it's failed in 2 months make sure you get a new one!
