Increasing sensitivity of Mouse buttons

Hi people, Does anyone know if it is possible for me to increase the sensitivity of the Mouse Buttons on my Acer Laptop..It is driving me nuts, I really need to slam it to get it to work.

If it is possible, then please can you tell me how.

no.
you can increase the sensitivity of the pad
you can adjust the double click speed (might be worth a try
but not the sensitivity (banging won't have helped ;(

the mouse settings are in control panel - should be straight forward

a new tochpad will be expensive (unless still in guarantee)
you can get a new usb mouse or touchpad quite cheaply though
