Laptop mouse for Windows 7
4 Answers
I would like to get a mouse or gerbil for my sons laptop, ideally cordless. Would any work with Windows 7, as not yet indicating so on any packaging? And any recommendations for either a mouse or gerbil pref under £30? Thanks

any mouse will work with wndows 7
I would recommend something like this

Not because of the mouse, but because of the receiver, it's small enough to be left plugged into the laptop without risking it getting knocked and damaging a USB port.

any decent USB mouse should be compatible .
the new ones unless its a fancy one with extra controls dont even come with their own programs simply because they are easily recognised as a mouse by the pc.
i would recommend a lazer type mouse simply because with the unit your pluggin into being portable a lazer mouse will not have the issue of needing a mat unlike the wheel type mouse.which doesnt work well on some surfaces.
