Resetting hard drive partition tables
5 Answers
I have a hard drive which had an OEM partition, using up space that I wanted to recover and used PTEDIT32.exe to get rid of it. Unfortunately, although I was able to free the space, I seem to have altered the partition tables in such a way that I cannot make the disk bootable.
The disk in question is a quantum fireball LCT 15 (30GB) and wondered if anyone knows how to select the correct values, using the aforementioned software. I can boot to the disk via a floppy boot disk but wish to avoid having to do this.
Anyone ??
