I posted a link not long ago about my "toshiba laptop" not booting up...it just comes up saying that it will not load due to an error with a removable device and starts beeping, how ever i do not have any removable devices.
I have taken the cover off and made sure the hard drive has not become disconnected, but still have the same problem.
Does this mean i need a new hard drive? Can anyone specify the error?

Any help is much appreciated.

no...not your hard drive - I think there is a device; maybe a dvd CD? Check all the ports.
