Hi , can anyone please, please help me, I have a lot of photos on my flash drive which has been working ok, up until today (07/04/10) now when I plug it in, the little light does`nt come on, and theres nothing coming up on my pc, in other words, I think its died on me. Is there any way possible of getting these things working again.
I have windows XP, and the flash drive is a Kingston Data Traveler.
Any help PLEASE.
Thanks.

Try it in another computer.

If it still won't recognise in another computer then sorry to say, but you may have just learnt why you should always have a backup of anything you don't want to lose.

thanks Chuck, yep Ive tried in another pc , but no luck. I know, BACK UP, ive heard it so many times but think it wont happen to me. wot an idiot.
Cheers
You MUST back up your data especially from something as flimsy as a USB stick. Unfortunately, you have learned this the hard way.
If it was REALLY important info / pics, there are companies out there who do data recovery on dead hard drives so there may be hope! Google data recovery.
