sound crackle HELP!!!

Please someone help i have a newish hp pavilion m7770 media centre which about every eight seconds makes a crackle sound or kind of scratched cd which is extremely horrible to listen to when playing music ,it does it all the time whether its youtube or media player please please advise im going MAD many many thanks in advance
