Desktop and TV as monitor

After my house burn I am now in caravan for 6 months at least and have decided as space is severely limited to go for above any advice would be most helpful. As I only do general surfing banking emails and interested as to how the world works is there much differece between Pentium and celeron?. Have been looking at 3gb mem. and 500gb hard for about£400 and 19" tv for about £150/200 Any views??? or is this the right move present lappy on has 2.7 gb left and is 4 years old. MTIA

A fair amount. The Celeron is intels budget line of CPUs and is missing a few bits from it you normally get on one of their full CPUs which quite seriously effects the performance of them. stay away from celerons unless you have no choice budgetwise. (which shouldn't be a problem for £400)
