What actual disc is it? Mini CD?
If so and the Drive tray will support it .. and it's horizontal . give it a try.
Try WMP .. but Winamp or similar should do the job.
You could even open in explorer and copy the wav files across first.

I assume you actually mean MiniDisc and not Mini CD.
Unless your soundcard has optical in, I would think the easiest way to transfer the audio would be to use a mini jack from the headphone out socket to the line-in socket and record it with Audacity.
