Hi I have been using incredimail for quite some time now and it has always worked ok for me, however I am not into transferring photos etc as I use it just to send and receive emails but I would be interested to know what anyone thinks of this service as compared to others and whether I should change to something else. All recommendations greatfully recieved.S.O.G

Incredimail has frequently been criticised on this site because of all the advertising rubbish it dumps on your computer.

My own preference is to stick with a 'standard' email client (such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird or Windows Mail) and to use it with a free email service which supports such clients (as well as offering web-based access).

I actually use Outlook Express (simply because that's already on my computer) but I recognise that most people rate Thunderbird as a far superior email client:

Incredimail is very annoying for recipients .. and infests the system ... particularly the registry (where it adds over 600 entries)
It is difficult (if not impossible) to remove.
Regards as a virus.
