About a month ago Windows update downloaded IE9 into my PC...I hate it..if I uninstall it,will it automatically revert back to IE8.

Every day Microsoft Update is telling me I have an important update...IE9...just got rid of it of it cos I hated it after it downlaoded as an update>
Do I HAVE to have it???????
