we pay for XL package from virgin media and should be getting 10 megabytes but we only getting between 1 and 2mb. this is my 3rd call to them in the last hour and ive yet to get thru to them (the other person has cleared) message happened first. second phonecall he said !ill check that for you" and never come back to me. im now on third call were they said it would take up to 15mins ive now been waiting for 26 minutes
Unplug your router and modem, wait one minute and plug the modem back in, wait another minute and plug the router back in and you should be back up to normal speeds. If not then a call to Virgin would be the next step and they will make you do what I just said anyway.
I upgraded yesterday to the 100mb and it is great. I've done a few online speed checks since and we are getting just over 97mb download and almost 10mb upload speeds.
