Minimal payment sites
Another site which shall remain nameless has started to require new users to pay 1p with a credit/debit card in order to have their real names and addresses just in case they are thinking of trollery.
Are there any other non-shopping sites which require this? Would it be a good idea if this site introduced this requirement too?

I think it's an awful idea, especially the part where you provide credit card info. If the reason put forward is to make dealing with trolls easier, then it would be more appropriate to beef up the moderating.
From what I've seen on this thread, AB's moderators are thoroughly on the ball, so there should be no need to change things.
