Docs Arriving In Code
When I open an Attached doc on my laptop it reads fine, in English.
If I do the same on the destop it is in code with a menu listing different ones - none of which change it to English.
Some underlying change seems to be needed.

I am guessing that you have the correct program to open it on the laptop but not the desktop, or, the file association on the desktop is telling it to open in a different program.

I didn't express the problem accurately. Sorry.
I used to bank with Santander and when I installed their more secure system or whatever, my bank statements, formerly in plain English arrived in code and it was impossible to backtrack.
That and other things involved a change of bank - never again!
Now I have a few shares with HL, I get exactly the same problem. Clicking on the link to display a summary displays normal text on my laptop, but the desktop output arrives in code. These are in Adobe Acrobat docs.
I hope this gives more accurate information.
TKS.
