I'm Thinking About Upgrading My Bt Infinity Package...
...I have a BT Infinity package with 40gb usage and its supplied with a HomeHub 3. An unlimited usage package would be supplied with a HomeHub 5...Can anyone tell me what differences I can expect to see between the two hubs. I've read up on a whole bunch of 'features' of the new hub but not much of the 'benefits'. Please help.

No longer needing a separate modem the 5 has more ethernet connections and the router has a number of internal upgrades. Though upgrading to a Home Hub 5 doesn't mean that your internet speeds will get any better, I'm on Infinity 2 and I do have unlimited usage and speeds of 50GB but promised 72!
Thanks for that Jomlett .I have a speed of 35GB and when I asked about 'up to 72GB' I was told my exchange would only accept up to about 50GB and (here's the nice bit) the BT customer services person I was talking to advise me not to bother as I wouldn't really notice much difference between 35 and 50GB and not worth the increase in payment. Refreshingly frank, I thought.
I have just upgraded to Infinity, they didn't charge anything extra & they sent a guy round to fit it ( it only took about 5 mins as they only add something to your existing wall socket.
Its Ok but have had to re set the box about 5 times since Xmas (it just logs you out of the internet) never had that trouble with my ancient BT modem.
