Does anyone know if PayPal is down ?
I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

fed up day, was all going to plan, I banked money for hija, had a coffee, hand washed some clothes, got 12.20 bus to ibiza, then got 13.20 to hospital, all very nice and on time, waited, and waited, then a doctor came out and explained that the xray machine wasn't working, but to wait. So I waited and waited. Then they said, as I was diabetic (am I? I onpoy take the tablets!) I had better go and eat and go back in 3 hours, no way Jose. So I got the 15.20 bus home, cleaned the house, made spag sauce, drove to the tip, phoned the hospital as instructed, and could I go back today?? No way. so I've lost that appointment, so have to make another one, another time another place. Can't ba!!

Oh dear neti, what a kerfuffle. Try and make it another time, it needs checking really.

Hmm I see I'm approaching my AB anniversary, 12 years on Halloween. 12 is linen and silk so you'd better get busy sewing your black cloaks for the celebrations. Then there'll be the sacrificial lamb of course....who could the site do without I wonder? :)

I think it's finally stopped raining and I've finally got the pattern right on my knitting after the fourth attempt.

Wish I could still knit, but the fingers don't seem to want too, not that I was that good in the first place.

Yes, I'll pop in to see if I can get another appointment for x-ray, but knowing this place, it'll have to be doctor again, the reception for the app.

Nice sunny day here, not as hot thankfully, but still shorts and t shirt weather.

Morning..it looks to be brightening up after a cold wet night. The damper the weather the more I seem to snuffle and cough.
Sis is coming in a bit to help me get some shopping, only the local shops, it's all I have the energy for. To get all the things I need it would take three journeys with my trolley, everything bulky has run out, kitchen/loo rolls, taters, t-bags...you get the picture. I might have a word with the pharmacist about this cold.

Dry atm but rain later .Supposed to be better from tomorrow for a while .
I hope so ,fed up with this damp wet weather too. No shorts or T-shirts here.

Sun's out after a hot and miss day. Tired but all stocked up with heavy, bulky stuff so all I'll need in few days is top up and hopefully I'll be gathering speed soon. The lady on boots said she hadn't heard about a particularly bad cold but the pharmacist has just started with one and an assistant in the supermarket was full of it...good job she wasn't serving me. Anyway boots lady suggested a 'wee tonic' and I remembered the metatone. Got a bottle big enough to turn me from Olive Oyl into Popeye, lol.

Got another nasal xray for this Friday. I waited for the man receptionist as he likes me, and hey ho, an almost immediate appointment and no doctor. He told me my Mexico was away looking after the baby, I said what about looking after me, he laughed.
Just been to washing machine shop, should be in later or tomorrow and if poss, I'll have it by tomorrow evening, failing that Thurs. Getting quite used to handwashing.

Evening each! Been for my X-ray hopefully that's the last one. 7 to 10 days for result. You're going to be sorted soon Neti at last.
I'm pleased you called in the pharmacists Robi. Nothing worse than a coungh when you're trying to sleep. Hope to tonic works. Shaney and Woofy hope you are ok too.
I'm looking forward tomorrow going for 2 miles walk (not far is it) along the Cromford Canal then having lunch at the end near the lock.

Hope your results are clear Jude.I expect you're looking forward to your walk ,you must have missed them.Wish I could hike about like Í used to. I need a week to get over walking up the High St ..lol.
That Metatone is a big bottle Robinia .Mine's still in the cupboard and runs out in 2017 and is still half full .I'd better get swigging.It could be the miracle cure I've been looking for.I could rub into my joints :)
Hope it bucks you up a bit anyway.It did help me and I soon got my appetite back .

hello all, quick pop in cos I am knackerd. Sis and I have been running round doing loads of shopping and the dogs have had two or three rough nights with the weather....looks like a break now though :)

We've been along the seafront today and had a nice meal in the Pier Hotel.
It's been a lovely day although a bit breezy along the front .
I didn't go paddling :)

Morning all. Was at garage at 7.30 as although car had passed it's MOT it needed a new tyre, then we went to a lovely little local bar for brekkie.
No washing machine yet! getting fed up now, I have so much washing piling up now as am only washing the light things by hand. Chillier this am, but it will heat up.

Morning ...ooh, it's chilly and breezy but the sun's shining. I don't know where yesterday went, I'm trying to get back into the land of the living and catch up with the exciting domestic chores. Think I need to get the metatone put into a drip feed. :)

Morning all, ok then afternoon! Damn washer not coming till tomorrow at 9am cos I will be at garage this pm collecting car when they could have delivered it! grrr

Lovely weather, can actually wearing white jeggings (Bon Marche)now, but there are 100's of flies everywhere, horrible.

Got hija's room ready as much as I can until she arrives, can't make the bed yet as the cat sleeps on it, with a thick cover I might add!

Xray tomorrow at 13.20 hrs so will get the 12 noon bus, and the 14hr or 14.20 bus back, waste of my time when I could be washing!
