Does anyone know if PayPal is down ?
I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

Shaney that is so sweet.

Missing my bubsa. She's in Barca now making her way to her friend's apartment. We had a loveday, had brekkie out, then went to Las Salinas (the salt flats) and saw 100's of flamingo in various shades of pink, then hija wanted some boots, so Mr N bought them for her, and then she wanted to go to a cheap bbq place for lunch, wll there was so much meat, chicken, pork, steak and various sausages, all you could eat, it was freshly cooked and came straight from the grill, salad and bread and ali oli, all for 10€. I'm not too fussed about too much meat and have gone off it lately but you do this for the kids don't you? They kept bringing fresh platefuls of meat and we just had to say no more thank you, the waitress looked very surprised!! Then we went to airport, checked her in, had a coffee and kissed goodbye. Of course she and I were whatsapping (texting) the minute I got in the car.
Washed all her bedding and changed it all to another non iron one and the curtains, I put back up the venetain blind that she pulled down, washed her towels and that's it for now.
Had to laugh, when she came home last night as 2am, the cat shouted at her from the settee, the cat has taken to shouting a lot lately.

Aw Neti .. sad for you but we have to let them go ,can't keep 'em tied to our apron strings forever. At least you sound as if you had a lovely day today and it's so easy to keep in touch these days.
I remember pre internet all the years we only had pen and paper to keep in touch with my late brother in Australia and the odd phone call.It was very expensive to phone at one time. Bet the flamingos were a lovely sight ..all we get here are hundreds of seagulls ....lol.
Oh dear a "loveday" sounds terribly twee, it should have been a lovely day!!
you do this for the kids don't you?

absolutely... I eat for three kids, even though I don't actually have that many.
ooh, 7 degrees tonight. I have put the electic blanket on the bed and flicked the switch. I was hoping this wouldn't be necessary before December or thereabouts.
Bon dia a tots! I am speaking in local tongue!
Certainly much cooler here thankfully. Had a good night's sleep apart from getting up and letting the cat in through the window, but I now have a stiff neck.

Hope you are all well and jno has settled back into normal routine.
morning all. Chilly and foggy here, I like it.
Oh yes woofy I would love it too!

Morning all
Cool and misty here too.Supposed to brighten up though.
I don't like cold, it brings out my chilblains from whatever cupboard they hide in. Had the electric blanket on all nght and slept well, so it had better stay on till May.
Bit overcast here, sun came out for a minute. Drying washing in drier as a wee bit dampish. House tidy, now what can I do?

I don't mind the cold weather if it's dry .It's damp and rain I can't stand with my arthritic bones .I've been out three days running walking about and today I feel as if I've been hit by a ten ton truck. I'm doing the ministry of silly walks trying to get going.
Shades of winter here, but it may be misleading.Summer does not usually finish this early.
Tinitus driving me crazy this afternoon!
Evenin all...where am I? Who am I? ...I can't quite remember. I feel decidedly foggy today. Must be a cyber virus. :)
It's been a very gloomy day and I've done absolutely nowt. Well, apart that is from showering, getting dressed and watching a soppy xmas film on Five (yes, I said a xmas film! I love xmas when it isn't :))
I've overdone it this week and it's all caught up with me. I could have gone to choose some carpet for the dining room but I hadn't got the energy...I'd love laminate but like jno suffer with the cold feet so shag pile it is.

Love the squirl and I remember the sweet meece. My little thief just passed through this morning, I expect he's already got a big stash for the weekend.

Sorry you're baby's gone neti, it's a horrible feeling. My big baby arrived back in uk full of cold, he sounds dreadful, so I won't be seeing him for a couple of days...he's passing it round the ex's family.

Back to the sofa and Strickly with me quiche....be good, whoever and wherever you are :)
have had a busyish day. sorted out the kitchen and set up my new kitchen teevee, tidied out the cupboard under the stairs where I keep the dog towels and blankets and treats. The tortoises are sulking in their heated shed because the nights are too cold to let them stay outside. I let them stay out last night but it really didn't warm up enough today so I turned on the shed heating and scooped them up.
Don't let your baby breathe all over you Robi, you have only just shifted one lot. Neti you are a lovely Mum letting your baby go with a smile. I had the heating on this morning for the first time, I really think we have seen the last of summer now.
Had proper hot cooked dinner tonight, turkey meatballs....lovely!
Morning..It's dull, grey and cold. I slept well, still feeling a tad Looby Loo tho' so another lazy day's in store I think.
You're right woofy, I don't want another virus of any kind. Turkey meatballs sound nice, any left? Catapult em this way please.
Good morning all, my baby flies far away today, I hate feeling like this. I'll be happier when she has finally arrived at her destination,. I'm not worried about crashes or anything, I just worry! I just hate saying goodbye even though we have already said it.

Sunny day here. Mr N getting his van and tools ready for tomorrow as he starts his winter work, new bathrooms, tiling floors etc. He hasn't had much of a rest this summer, but having had a bad year a while ago, doesn't like to refuse anything. I like having the house to myself again!!
they are really easy Robi, I just turn out the packet of turkey mince and cut it into cubes, then toss them into a little oil. When they are brown I toss in sauce and simmer till the meat is cooked.

Hello all
Bit brighter now after a very foggy start.Bit like me .
Are you getting in the Christmas spirit already Neti ?I see you've changed into a fairy:)
Hope you're all ok .I love spag and meatballs but not turkey.Nooooo:)
Hija is winging her way to Istambul. We went to the next village of San Carlos for a light lunch as didn't fancy too much. Had delicious bread and ali oli and stuffed piquillo peppers, they were fine, but then came my uncooked frozen chips and revolting chicken escalope, the chips weren't frozen by now just not cooked enough, it was a disappointment. Home now with a cuppa and a choc bar!
