Does anyone know if PayPal is down ?
I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

good grief, everyone is doing much better in life than I am. I am still on Windows 7 (I keep getting offers of free Windows 10 but I am ok where I am so I'm not sure there's much point in changing), I can't fix mobiles, and I can't party for 32 minutes let alone hours.

they buy art works to decorate government offices, embassies abroad etc, but they operate on a shoestring. Their original budget 100 years ago was £20 a year and they were meant to buy big paintings to save on the cost of redecorating the walls behind them.

Hello all
It's been a lovely day .Pooped now though from wandering around shops.
The dress was a disaster,so thin you could see daylight through it .I ordered long being tall but it still came well above my knees .Short must be like pelmets.Got refunded and went elsewhere.
I don't normally do posh either Woofy but I want to look smart for my brother and SiL for their diamond do .I looked very untidy when I was their bridesmaid with my drooping ringlets and two missing top teeth :)
Windows keep shouting at me to upgrade to 10 .We've got 8 and I get on alright with it .We jogged along on 7 for years until we had to buy a new machine and 8 was already installed on it .
Interesting collection Jno .I see there's a Jan van de Capelle .Funnily enough we lived on street of that name in the Netherlands .I now know he was an artist .You learn something new every day.

evening all, dreadful storms we've been having. Can't believe that tomorrow is hija's last day, I haven't seen much of her, and feel like crying, but of course, she wants to be with her friends. Hopefully she'll be home a tad earlier tonight/tomorrow and we can still have a full day with dinner in the evening.

Just had a delightful lunch in breach cafe on Talamanca beach. Just salad,chips and delicious bocadillis (Spanish bread rolls) with pork loin, cheese, ham and tomato. As we were going out for Thai later but think she prefers to be with her friends and who can blame her!

I'm not sure what my big puta is, it might be windows 7. I haven't had time to be on it lately. 1st of October :-/.... I need it to be the 1st of September, I lost a fortnight with that stinking cold.

Oh I am pleased. I have put all my music from mp3 onto pc, and then returned it all to new phone, think I am getting clever. I can do big things like get the other phone back working , but not little things up to now.

I wish we could turn the clock back to May and a weather forecaster telling us it's going to be a long hot summer ,but it never was.This last week has been lovely though and we've still got a few more nice days by the look of it.
Well done Neti .I wouldn't have a clue how to do anything like that.
I had to put a new ink cartridge in the printer this morning and got in muddle.It's totally different to the old one.I managed it eventually after a lot of blue air .

Morning...lovely now the sun's out but it was very chilly first thing, probably a frost in some places. I've been domestically dynamic, it's only just after 11 and I'm done in.
There's a new naughty kid in town...well, a new pesky squirrel. Bloomin thing has learned very quickly how to sit on a branch, haul up the sunflower heart feeder, turn it upside down, shake it, roof opens and all the seeds fall to the ground. Then he had the brass neck to sit at my feet eating them. tut.....
Safe journey back for hija neti, hope she's enjoyed herself. Ozzy should be back in the uk tomorrow, he's got a lot of things planned, hope there's some good weather for him.

hello all, lol at your squirrel Robi, you don't sound that cross! safe journey to Hija and aren't you getting clever Neti. It was chilly here last night too but gets unbearbable about 3pm. the house faces west and south which is not ideal. Migraine didn't hit, head still feels like a bubble.

our feeder won't turn upside down so the squirrels have to turn themselves upside down and swing back and forth till it empties some seeds out.

Then the pigeons stomp in and eat them and the squirrels get chased away.

I had to give up on feeders because watching rats feed and queue up to feed isn't as fun as you might think. these filled coconut shells seem to be less attractive and easier to hang out of reach

Hello all
He's a lovely squirrel Jno .We hardly ever see them here .I've never had one come into the garden.We just used to get the little mice on the feeders until next doors cat moved in .

It's been another lovely day,pleasantly warm but it is nippy first thing now and at night.I'd be quite happy with this weather for the foreseeable future .
