Accessing Facebook

I went on Facebook on Saturday afternoon but when I tried to access in the evening I just got a blank screen. I am getting messages via e-mail but still cannot view the post. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Its fine for my friends as well I am beginning to think my laptop is on it way out!
