Can anyone help me please.. I had a chat with someone during the night and accidently switched on to Video call.

The person who I was chatting too is having problems with her iPad..she says she can here me typing and a loud crackling noise?

Does anyone know whats happened and how to switch it off. I have done anything I can do that I know of.
