When I opened my browser this morning every few seconds it would open a new Amazon assistant page , Ilost count of the number that were in the "queue". I got rid of them by eventually opening CCleaner and uninstalling the program. I had at first tried to uninstall in the windows 10 uninstaller but the option to uninstall was greyed out and unresponsive. Is this common or just a glitch ?

I have just looked into your link and can't find any trace of assistant. I presume that I have removed it with Ccleaner but thank you for your interest.
