ehy not upgrade to 10 - it's all but like 7 - also get a pro to do it and take off all the old updates, they halved the memory that I had used on my old pc....Windows do not delete them and it soaks space up.

Hoping to get new pc with win 10 on it in a couple of weeks, might just bite the bullet until then :-)

Sorry, but I can't understand folk who appear to enjoy using a Browser that keeps causing problems.

Chrome is in my opinion a Browser to be avoided, especially when there are so many others which are far more reliable and less intrusive with their cookie compilations.
