Hi, Is anyone else getting huge volumes of spam, much more than usual, over the last few days? They all say the same thing, somthing like, "delivery status notification, failure" or similar, and seem to come from an american drug supplier, they all have at least two attachments with them. Just now I recieved 700 of the things in one go!

I'd bet you opened that attachment first time you recieved this email?...BIG MISTAKE!...ALWAYS DELETE emails you don't know the origin of especially ones with attachments. I did get such an email only yesterday but my curiosity did NOT get the better of me!

I don't like to be pessimistic but it is more than likely you now have some virus or other and you had better check it in your favourite Virus protection software......you DO have such software I hope?...commoner.

Hi is, this sounds a bit like your PC has been hijacked and is being used to send loads of SPAM e-mail somewhere and what you are getting back are legitimate status notifications from the suffering receiver of the e-mails that your PC is sending to them.

anti-virus, anti-trojan, anti everything scanning is your only answer now and you better hope that the receiver of the e-mails you are (maybe) sending does not contact you to complain against you.
