Prince Harry's Lawyer Says Mgn Has Settled Remaining Parts Of Hacking Claim

The Duke of Sussex has settled the remaining parts of his phone hacking claim against Mirror Group Newspapers, his barrister has told the High Court.

David Sherborne told the court Prince Harry had won further "substantial" damages.

The High Court heard the company had accepted an offer to settle the claim made by the prince.

 

I wonder what Piers Morgan will have to say now - I have no doubt that slime ball knew exactly what was going on under his watch!  No doubt he will try to worm his way out of it and blame someone else

I don't understand why most people dislike him.  I think that his brother is a bit creepy and nicey-nicey, as is his brother's missus.

I hope that the media find someone else to chase for a story.

I have a lot of time for Harry and Megan, i think the stuff that have been written about them is disgusting.

He is slagged if he doesn't come and slagged if he does, she is the same. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors - despite what some like to suggest otherwise.

Helen, are you denying that Harry has treated his family appallingly with what he has written about them in his book and what the pair of them said on the Oprah show and in their documentary?

For the past 3 years they have been nasty to most members of the RF and of course, she has not seen her father or any other members of her family since before they were married.

How anyone can have time for them, I do not know.

Barsel - have you seen what her father did to her? Or is that OK - he sold her story about the wedding to the press.

It was obvious that she was never going to be accepted into the RF and I do believe that there were issues.

I think Charles might love to see his grandchildren at a time like this.  A decent wife would think of this, but Megan doesn't think about anybody else but Megan.

And it's what I believe!

My actual opinion is that Harry is a weak individual and Megan rules the roost.  We can all have our opinions.

I'm certainly not guided by the press.  But the fact is the book if not written by Harry was certainly approved by him.  It's not a book I would dream of reading.  Why they get so much press coverage beats me.

Every family is different, many are dysfunctional.  The royal family are the most dysfunctional of them all.

At the end of the day - it's none of our business what they say or do.

Which is what Harry did. He let everyone know (or his wife did) that he was coming over and that is why it was on the front page of all the newspapers.

Helen, don't get me wrong, I know her father did things he shouldn't have done, but he's had a heart attack and a stroke, and I really think she should patch things up with him while she can.

If Harry can travel all that way to see his father, I don't see why she can't travel a few hundred miles to see hers.

Lol. And she wouldn't have? His crime was to get in first and steal her fireworks that,of course,she does not crave the lime light. An attention seeking grifter indeed.

Barsel.  The best thing my daughter in law did was cut her father out of her life completely.  He tried hard to get back into her life.    We really do not know the circumstances between Megan and her Dad.

Personally, I don't think any of them should have come to visit, especially children.

The King has cancer and is receiving treatment. The last thing he wants is to pick up an infection from people who want to visit him.

The thing is, he was very good to her while she was growing up and then he did something wrong and for that, he is ostracised.
