A 'so-so week' for me this week, I reckon, with THREE out of seven in the main quiz
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqx98ngd99lo

. . . and THREE out of five in the junior one
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/articles/cldyny3ypnko

You can do better than that, can't you?

Good scores, as always, Lie-in King!

Well done!

Good evening, Chris

Well, 5/7 and 3/5 - shocked myself there, where's my beer?

Question Author

Well done, Captain2!

Your beer's still in the pump until you pay for it - and for mine as well, of course!  🍺

Evening Chris.

Suppose it could've been worse  !!

Hope this finds you well  ; ))

Question Author

Thanks for letting me beat you this week, Sam 😊

Yes, I'm well, thanks - although I'm very tired this evening for some reason.  I hope that you're well too.

3/7,4/5. Bailey had his trip to the vets for his scan, definitely has a heart murmur but not bad enough to stop him having surgery. Have to have a chat with the senior vet about it. Puss Puss decided he neede more attention so barged out of the front door and didn't come back until the wee small hours of the morning. Both are giving me the eye as they know there's a turkey thigh joint in the oven. Hope yours are behaving are feeling less tired soon, just persuading myself at the moment that the days are getting warmer and longer.

3/7 v 4/7

3/5 v 3/5

Tablo seems to have you in order !!

Gobolino continues to organise his domain -  in the friendliest possible way - of course 😺

Good evening, Buen x

Well done on beating me, Campbellking, Haras2 and Patsy!

I hope that Bailey's op will go smoothly, Campbellking and that Puss Puss is getting all of the attention that he so rightly deserves too!  My lot usually know when I'm cooking some chicken for them (which gets laced with flea treatment tablets) and suddenly become extra affectionate 😺

The days might be getting longer but, looking at the forecast for the weekend, I'm not so sure about the 'warmer' bit!

ALL of my threesome (not just darling Tablo) have got me firmly under their paws, Haras2!  It's good to know that Gobolino is clearly in charge of his territory too!

Absolutely pathetic - 1/7 and 2/5.  Really must pay more attention!

Question Author

Better luck next week, Maggie!

3/7 and 1/5

Junior let me down badly this week 🤣

Question Author

You need to spend more time on your roller skates, and playing with your Lego, I reckon, Canary42! 😊

🤣

Hi all,

A decent 4/7 (1 guess) for the first quiz and an amazing full kid mode 5/5 for the other (2 guesses)!!!!!!!!!!!

Still got Mr. J2 in hospital.  If you are wondering about bed-blocking...... he had a urine test on Monday morning (suspectect UTI).  I asked every day for result... no joy until today when I was told that he needed another test as the 1st had been contaminated (in a hospital????).  That went off today and we MAY get results on Monday so he could  begin antibiotics and getting home a couple of days later - AND FREEING UP A BED.

It's a well-meaning shambles, it really is.

Calm down girl, be a perfect child.

Thanks again, Buenchico for a calming end to the week. x

Question Author

Well done, indeed, Jourdain2!  You're our joint leader (with the mighty Lie-in King)!

I've had my share of UTIs.  (They're more common in people with prostate cancer than in those without it).  Fortunately, they've all responded very quickly to antibiotics.  So I hope that the same will apply to Mr J2 if it's confrmed that's what he's got wrong in that area.

I hope that Mr J2 will be home soon and that you'll both have a good week!

My usual dismal scores: 2 and 2.

The pics of your beautiful cats cheered me up, though 🐈‍⬛😀
