Problems downloading files on my MAC
7 Answers
Since I got my first ibook (2nd hand) I've been unable to download any files on it. In the download window, it says the filename, and e.g. 13.8KB of 6.7MB - Cannot Create File. It means I'm unable to download any new programs. Can any MAC users help?

When you connect to the internet do you use Safari (icon looks like a compass) or IE (blue e). Also click on the HD icon and "get info" from file menu or 'apple-i' this will give you a info window and tell you how much space is free on the HD. If you could let me know this would help.
MAC OS X Version 10.4.7.
1.2GHz PowerPC G4
Memory 256MB Built-in
I use Safari to connect to the internet. It says there is 9.67GB available on the hard drive. (18.15GB on disk) I appreciate thats not very much but I was unable to download when I first received the ibook before I started saving files to the hard drive (although it had had a previous user who may have used up a fair bit of the memory too.) Thx!
