NTL Connection Times

Has anyone been having trouble with NTL world? When I download from a site, it starts downloading OK then suddenly everything stops for about 30s econds and then starts up again. This sometimes loses my connection, and I think I have lost the link because of it. It happens nearly every time I want to download anything, and it's getting very annoying. NTL never seem to answer your questions. HELP.

That has been happening to me too. And I also agree about NTL - their customer handling is appalling. They rarely respond to e-mails preferring, I reckon, for their client base to use the premium rate telephone lines. It's a shame because until recently, the service was great.
