Need some tech help

Firstly, I want to apologise about my thread last night, had a bad day etc etc, but still not right for me to be as I was. So sorry about that.. But thanks for all who cheered me up. I also have a question I posted in tech about removing info from my google bar. OK, I looked at a (naughty) site! given to me from someone at work. It was a rubbish site anyway, but cant get rid of it when I scroll down lol. Can you help me pleese

Do you have the option when you click the arrow closest to the 'G' > View history > Clear History ?

I dont get that on my privacy privacy option scotchollie. But have been to control panel and did all what you suggested.

If I smashed the pc up. Would that help?

No, tech girl, if i click on that, it just gives me a list of other search engines, with no option to delete anything

Trinny, try right-clicking the 'G' in your Google toolbar. Then click 'Clear Search History'

If Tech Girl's suggestion fails, and you absolutely have to remove this from the search history - you could try removing the Google Toolbar via Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and then reinstall it.

mrknowall, I can delete history, temp files etc in control panel. did all that but the dam thing still pops up in google.

Techgirl, my google bar is the little one on the right of screen. Ir How thick do I sound lol, but I did right click on G but it didnt give option to delete, just to customise it!

BTW - after you uninstall the toolbar - reboot.

hi Elvis, if I left click on it, it only brings up other search engines. No option to clear history or anything :(
