is avg any good and home does it compare to avast

I use Avast as I have come across many PC's that are infected with virus's whislt running AVG.

I run AVG and have never had a virus yet.
Just make sure you have a good Firewall running too Wales like Zone Alarm or Comodo

I run both, ( on different pcs )avg is the easier to use but would say avast is the slightly better of the 2.Both are very good though never had a nastie yet.
