Sometimes when reading something on a forum it will say something like "read this" or "see here" but there is nothing to click. Other people will comment on whatever it is they have just looked at but I'm not getting a link. Am I missing something (yes I know, the link) or is my computer not up to it?

I have the same trouble when using Internet Explorer 7.
OK when I use IE6 or Mozilla Firefox,by the way.
Are you running Norton zone alarm by any chance?
For reasons known only to itself, it decides to block some links. I have users who experience the same thing on a forum I administer.

Turn it off and the links magically appear.

Best bet is to uninstall this piece of rubbish.
Are you signed in to the forums when this happens?

Well Everhelpful I do have IE7 so it could be that I suppose. There again I havent noticed if its the same on Mozilla. I'll keep an eye on that.

No squarebear I havent got Norton. Ive heard its rubbish.
Ah Ethel you may well be right. I sometimes dont sign in if Im just quickly scanning through. Once again I havent noticed if it happens at these times (turns red and draws circles with toe).
Thanks all for the advice, I'll watch what Im doing and let you know.
